For Lance

Santa Claus is coming to town

Hannah woke up at 7 in the morning asking if Santa Claus came and if her brought her a rocking horse. Apparently she understands more than we thought. We had a great Christmas!

You better not cry

Tis the season

Hannah was excited about the Christmas season so we wanted to do all the holiday "stuff" in the weeks leading up to Christmas. We went to Zoo Lights and to Temple Square, we went to a Christmas concert and drove around looking for houses with awesome lights. It was very very busy but we enjoyed it all.

busy busy bees

Wow, its the middle of December already. Crazy. We have been busy getting ready for Christmas, making gifts sending cards and going to parties. Hannah has been excited about ever single part of Christmas. She loves the lights on the houses, she really loves the snow and she LOVES Santa Claus. We put up the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving weekend, I am not sure how many times we put up each ornament but it was several. I put all the non breakable decorations down low so Hannah had some that were within reach to play with.

Hannah saw Santa at grandpa's house and she sat on his lap and gave him a kiss. She told me the "he will be back, in 20 minutes." I asked her what we should leave for santa and she said he likes cookies, and beer. I asked her about the beer and she said "no, milk" She is very concerned about what santa is going to want to eat/drink.

I made Hannah a stocking this year, I decided I wanted to do this about a month ago and just barely finished it this week. I think it is really cute, so I am going to show it off.

Today John had to work so Hannah and I had a girls day. I was making us some muffins for breakfast and Hannah was in the front room playing with her toys. She came into the kitchen and told me "Come here momma" I went into the front room and she said "Look, my toys are laying down" I asked her why she didn't lay them down looking up and told me that they were laying like this:

She sleeps like this and so her animals were going to sleep like that also. After that she took all her books and laid them out next to each other and told me "Look momma I my books are a shape! They are in a circle" They were sort of in a square, but I loved that she was trying to put them into a shape. This is definitly her new "thing." She will take anything and lay it out and then stack in back up. She spent an entire hour friday night stacking CD cases and moving them between the table and the hearth at grandpa's house. She could also pick out the Elvis CD.

I was working on the gifts for our office friends so when John came home from work she was at it again:

Hangin with the cousins again

These cousins are so silly. Hannah loves to play with them. They all love to go to Namma's house because she lets them eat treats on her bed.
