I would type one of those sad face emoticons, but I hate those. The rain has stopped and it is hot hot hot. Hannah and I went for a walk today and we were about 3 blocks from the house when she told me is was too hot for her to walk and the I would need to carry her. Yeah, that's hot. We were able to pull out the pool however..
A few other fun pics: This may look like child labor, and it is, check that out.
And this is what it looks like when Hannah takes her own pictures, these totally make me laugh..
Let me just say, I love the rain. This weather is so great, sunny and rainy everyday. We decided at the last minute on Saturday to go to the zoo in the rain. When the weather is bad is the best time to go to the zoo. The animals are more active and there isn’t a lot of people. I planned for rain so we had our umbrella and we all wore hoodies. We got there just in time for the huge storm. We huddled under the elephant enclosure roof with 100 other people and watched the rain. It was a wee bit too wet for my liking. We waited about 15 minutes and then ventured out. We had a great time, Hannah doesn’t mind the rain at all. The best part was that most of the people left when it started raining so she could run and see all of the animals, and the rain stopped completely by the time we got to the tiger.
On Sunday morning we went to the Aquarium. I think Hannah’s favorite part of the ‘quarium’ is the climbing. They have fake rocks all over that she loves to climb and walk on. My favorite part is not taking the stroller in.
After naps that day Hannah asked me if we could get some roses for our house. John took her outside and cut some roses from the backyard and brought them inside. (I didn’t know we had roses in our yard, shows you how much I help with the yard work eh?) Hannah was instantly in love with these roses and wanted her picture taken with them and wanted to carry them around all day.
Hannah: Momma, I want to drive a motorcycle. me: Ok, you can when you get bigger. Hannnah: NO, not when I am bigger. I am bigger. I am as tall as you and daddy, but not as tall as the roses or the trees.
Choo Choo! This is how you know that the potty train is about to stop. I am sure that Hannah knows when we are getting comfortable with something and she decides to change it up. Now that we are getting used to the potty train driving through our house she has decided she is going to be done with it. How do I know we are used to it? We just don't flinch at an accident, in fact today we both just laughed. She doesn't have accidents very often, we probably only have them once a week, and mostly when she is too busy playing.
We started evening swimming lessons tonight so we are in a big hurry at night, we get home about 30 minutes before bedtime so we have to hurry and eat and get Hannah to bed.
Tonight we were sitting at dinner when we heard liquid hitting the floor. John looked at Hannah and said "What are you doing?" She looked at him and said "I'm peeing" (duh) I just started laughing.
The perp-
The victim (after cleaning) - thankfully the seat cushion is plastic
Its looking like its going to be a once a month thing for the summer....
Hannah finished her swimming lessons and graduated from preschool level. She will start Level 1 next week. She absolutely loves the water and is doing a lot better at following directions.
We have learned that Hannah loves Corn on the cob. She will eat 2 cobs with a meal. She also like to husk the corn.
We celebrated Mothers day by being goofy.
This is what it looks like when Hannah takes pictures;
We also went to the zoo a few times....
Over memorial day we went up to Park City with the cousins and didn't take any pictures. Adam has some on his blog though, check them out here.
John and I celebrated our 6th anniversary last weekend. (Love you babe) And that is our world in a minute.....
