She wants to sit on the counter while I cook or clean or do anything. As she was sitting there I was trying to open a bottle and couldn’t get it to budge. She reached behind her and grabbed the can opener and handed it to me. I was shocked that she would put the two together, even though it wasn’t the correct tool for the job. I finished making dinner and Hannah told me that her stomach hurt really really bad. I picked her up and held her while I asked her if she wanted some medicine to make her stomach feel better. She looked up at me and said “No, I just want to snuggle” in the saddest voice she could muster. My heart melted and we snuggled until she felt better. On a side note, I remember when my Zachy was little and he would always say his tummy hurt because he loved tummy drops, it got so bad that we would have to fake giving him tummy drops so he would stop crying about it. Silly kid.
After dinner I was making frosting for a cake and Hannah was again sitting on the counter. When I was done I gave her a spoonful while I was frosting the cake, she decided that the spoonful just wasn’t enough. She reached down and grabbed the beater from the Kitchenaid and it led to this:

Which promptly led to this:

I have discovered that water is a very inexpensive and relatively clean toy. Hannah loves it.
