This and That

I have got to post more often than every 2 weeks. First an update, she is doing so great in her big girl bed. I was really worried, but so far it has been fine. She wakes up at night to go to the bathroom but that is it. And - this is what we have been up to.

Hannah started swimming lessons 2 weeks ago and she is doing really well. Her class has one other kid in it but he won't go to the teacher so basically she is on her own. I hope she is learning something because it looks to me like she is just telling the teacher what she wants to do in the pool. Last week she got mad because the teacher wouldn't let her play on the kick board by herself. I have to laugh because mini me at 2 might be a little independant.

It is finally spring at my house, my flowers took forever to bloom this year, but here are some pictures:

We went last weekend to see Wicked at the Capitol Theater. It was so fun, that musically really is amazing. I liked getting dressed up and having date night the most.

Some random pics of our lives. These pictures make me smile because they are everyday. Sometimes I feel like I only takes pictures of special occasions or when Hannah does something cute. I think that everything she does is cute, but these everyday things are such a big part of our lives that you forget that they will go away one day, and I will miss it.

Today Hannah and I went to the zoo, here are some pics of her playing on the playground.

This weekend is mothers day and it has such a different meaning to me since becoming a mother. I have always loved the day because I have such a great mother and mother in law. This year has really made me think about how much I enjoy being a mom, and how much I appreiciate having Hannah in my life. It also reminds me to cherish the time we have together. I have to say I am absolutey loving being a mom right now. I love it when Hannah holds my face and tells me "I just love you." She is so smart and so happy that she is just a joy to be around all the time. I love her laugh and her snuggles, but I also love her independence and the times when she is stubborn. I know she will grow up to be a strong woman and it makes me so proud. She is shockingly smart and has a great sense of humor.

Hannah is so adorable. That is great that she gets up at night to go to the bathroom. My almost 5 year old still wears pull-ups to bed. Way to go Hannah!

Since it's mothers day, I'll let slide the fact that you used the phrase "cherish the time we have together". Next time you get a face punching. I LOVE the last picture of Hannah. Bring her up to see Ry and the gang already.

Yeah, I feel way more sentimental before the weekend. Sorry about that, won't happen again.
