Public transit and pink flippers...

I just realized I hadn’t updated the blog in almost 2 weeks. Inconceivable! Anyway, here is a new background and a rundown of what in the world we have been doing the past 2 weeks.

I took Hannah on her first public transit trip. I have been wanting to do this since John started taking the bus to work. The first time we dropped him off at the bus stop Hannah has been fascinated with buses. We rode the bus from our house to the Trax station and then took Trax to the U to see John at work. Hannah loved taking the bus and the train. She was talking to everyone and yelling out the things she saw out the window.

We went to the Farmers Market for the first time this year. I love the farmers market in the fall. It is too hot to go in the summer months and the good fruit isn’t out until the fall. We got some peaches and some berries to make jam. I actually made the jam by myself because my mom was out of town. It was my first time making jam and it turned out pretty good. It really wasn’t that difficult to make. I think I used every single pot, bowl, spoon, and measuring utensil in my kitchen that day. Here is what Hannah does while I cook. I give her a little bowl of raisins and she will go and sit down and eat them. It is so cute.

John and I went to the sale at Dive Addicts and I got a pink mask and fins (flippers) to match. I am too excited about this.

We have been going Utah Football crazy. Hannah has been enjoying the games this year and every time she see’s the drum and feather logo she says “Utah Man sir.” She loves to put her arms up and say “touchdown” like the rest of the crowd when the Utes score. She also tells us “Go, Utes” every time there is football on TV. Her favorite part of the entire football experience is Swoop, she can pick him out of the crowd from across the stadium. She wants to give him knuckles whenever she sees him. Sometimes during the week when we are driving in the car she will ask me “where did Swoop go?”
The many faces of Hannah, these were all withing 5 minutes:

I am watching you, because I know you are about to make me mad:

Now you have done it:

You know you love me:

Finally yesterday we drove up to Park City and went through Midway and Provo canyon on our way to Orem to see John’s mom. Some might say that is the long way to Orem, I say any drive that takes me to an outlet mall is not long at all. The leaves in the canyon are absolutely amazing right now. Everybody get out and see them. Go. Now.

I freaking love your blog, and Hannah of course. I am unsure if I will be able to last until the next football game. Why don't we ever plan a "cool" cousins night?
